Sailors beware when cantankerous Crooked-Toe the pirate takes his nightly walk on the deck! Crooked-Toe Walks the Deck is more than a novelty tune; it's an educational presentation of several classical music references and English sailing tunes, all featured seamlessly as one logical idea. Included is What Shall We Do with a Drunken Sailor, 15 Men on a Dead Man's Chest, In the Hall of the Mountain King, Night on Bald Mountain, Sailor's Hornpipe, The Flying Dutchman, and a hint of the Dies Irae. A clever, well-written and effective piece that will be serious fun for all.
