At the violin school The Merry Violin , the fun of learning is in the foreground: The textbook aims for a playful early beginning with the instrument. As the class progresses, the adolescents will be consciously addressed in a language that matches their age. This includes a stylistically diverse range of classical and folklore pieces, and there is always a wealth of interesting information about the music and its composers.
Volume 1: Extensive introduction of the bow attitude - songs and play pieces under exclusive use of the first grip style, with emphasis on rhythmic, melodic and bow technical variety - playful feeling of geigerischer play techniques as eg Pizzicato, layer play, Flageolett and double handles CD to volume 1 (T 3272) with all songs and plays, with funny, spoken by children dialogues. A motivating complement to the lesson and a nice gift idea!

The book is a supplement to the first volume of the lesson The Merry Violin (ED 7299). Therefore, all violin parts are suitable for the violin school in the 1st Griffart playable. Musically, however, the booklet goes far beyond the content of a first year of lessons, so that the pieces are also well suited for the recapitulation of known content. The pieces include a wide variety of musical ideas and styles, from baroque to modern, from shanty to the Japanese national anthem, from the easy canon to the effective foreplay.
