12 pieces arranged for two guitars from repertoire spanning five centuriesThis intriguing mixture of duets ranges from John Dowland's 'My Lord Willoughby's Welcome Home' to Luciano Berio's 'Aldo'. The original notation and fingering by the renowned guitarist Karl Scheit has been retained and in addition this volume comes with a superb CD providing demonstration tracks of all pieces and two play along versions of each piece so that either part can be played by the live performer. This unprecedented selection is an absolute must for every guitarist wishing to gain experience in duet playing and also wishing to broaden his or her standard repertoire from the renaissance to the end of the 20th century.
