Built around the same CA3080 metal can integrated circuit of the original script Dyna Comp, this model delivers the classic sound of the original but with more control to tailor it to your specific rig and playing needs. The clean control lets you blend your dry signal with the compressed signal and the tone allows for further refinement of the compressed signal. Use the attack switch to toggle between a vintage style slow attack and a modern style fast attack. Finally, the output and sensitivity knobs control volume level and the length of sustain respectively. The M228 gives you everything from squishy ‚¬ï¿½70s compression to the open, transparent light touch compression favoured by many modern players. Hardwire bypass. Powered by 9 volt battery or AC adaptor (ECB003).
