Description

Start learning the Guitar from the comfort of your own home with this fun, easy to follow and comprehensive beginners book by Peter Volaris. Learn from the very beginning with Guitar Method B, perfect for the young beginner and the second in the Young Learners Guitar Method Book series. Book B in this series is a continuation from Guitar Method A and explores playing in Harmony, finger development, tone, music reading and playing styles. It also features great illustrations and easy to read music, tips and notes. Guitar Method B book for beginners comes with a CD that you can play along with and is like having a teacher right there, showing you how it should sound and helping to develop your skill and tone. Peter has been creating music books for beginners for decades and his Young Learners Guitar Course comes in three books, A, B and C all with a CD. Peter Volaris is an experienced and versatile music educator. Originally a classroom teacher with the education department (secondary level), his experiences also include performing, touring, composing (notably the Greek scores for the film Death in Brunswick) as well as other compositions for SBS broadcasting, and the development of his own music store and school which have been successfully operating since 1975. Peter’s teaching career started in 1963 and with several years of continuous teaching experience, decided to write his own books. His philosophy is simple. “Books should be written in a simple and methodical manner. Their approach should be based on the content leading to a sense of achievement, progress and a theoretical understanding of music.” Through the use of traditional, contemporary and classical aspects of tutelage, the development of skills and music appreciation are evident throughout the series of Guitar, Guitar and Ukulele books. His passion for theory enabled him to write AMEB based theory books which offer a unique approach to explanation and exercise for primary level students to students preparing for exams. His experience is now passed onto you through this range of books. Features Second of 3 part Guitar lessons for beginners Playing in Harmony Finger development, tone and music reading Original and traditional tunes included in the book Lyrics with chords so you can sing along CD included
