Description

Young musicians can sing, play and compose music with this fun and engaging new teaching tool from education specialists Poco Studio. Rhythm cards with a variety of patterns can be placed on the plate on either 2/4, 3/4 or 4/4 bars. The students can then tap or say the rhythm, create a melodic phrase with the rhythm, and add an ostinato to the phrases created. Included in this pack are rhythm cards with lengths corresponding to the number of beats each card is worth. Students use these cards on boards in 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4 to make up the rhythm of a song, do rhythmic dictation, or compose their own rhythm patterns.
