Contains Irish and Scottish music adapted to fingerstyle by such renowned players as Martin Simpson, Steve Baughman, Pierre Bensusan, Duck Baker, Tom Long, Pat Kirtley, and El McMeen. They follow in the footsteps of Scottish guitarist Davey Graham, whose attempt to find a way to play this music on guitar led him to develop the D-A-D-G-A-D tuning, which is now the predominant tuning for Irish guitarists. This video features performances of 'Believe Me if all These Endearing Young Charms; Waters of Tyne; Shepherd's Delight; Lowlands of Holland; Bony Crossing the Alps; Ramble to Cashel; Cullen Bay; Murtagh McKann; Flamorgan Air; and many more.
