Four songs for unison voices barred instruments (glockenspiel metallophone and xylophone) and small percussion instruments. Suitable for use in junior and secondary schools these songs are adventuresome in their sound idiom. Chromatic effects are achieved through the use of F-sharps and B-flats creating contemporary harmonies with diatonic instruments. Texts exploring various interpretations of the wind are by Christina Rossetti William D. Sargent and Anna Jean and Philip Rhodes. Wind Songs Publisher: Schott Music Instrument: Classroom Pages: 20
