Description

Scandanavian Folk Tunes for Flute is a collection 73 arrangements of traditional tunes from Sweden, Finland and Norway. Scandinavian traditionalmusic specialist and folk musician Vicki Swan provides notes on the his tory of the music, as well as playing techniques and styles. The pieces can be played solo, or as duet with another player. The volume is accompanied by a CD with a recording of all tunes performed by Vicki Swan, as well as access to MP3 downloads to recordings of many of the tunes played on other modern and traditional instruments. Suitable for players of grades 3-8.
