Description

SKU CLB012396700

This extraordinary work was written in lasting memory of those lost during the September 11, 2001 tragedies. "September" offers a musical journey through the varied emotions and feelings experienced during that heartbreaking time in history. In distinctive writing style, the composer touchingly reminds us "to never forget." The work is nearly through-composed, providing continuous interest and contrasting segments; and included within the chamber sections are solos for euphonium, oboe, and clarinet. Well-crafted and very poignant, this exceptional composition is destined to become part of every wind ensemble’s repertoire. Certain to move and arouse audiences everywhere, "September" is afforded our highest recommendation.
