Description

This work was composed in 1888 for the occasion of the silver wedding of Richard Strauss' partens. It is published here for the first time. The original manuscript, on which this edition is based, is in the Stadtische Musikbibliothek, Munich. The publication has been made at the request of the Strauss family. The edition is part of the ABRSM Summer 2006 syllabus and the Trinity syllabus 2007 (grade 6).
