The FR-AV4 can automatically start and stop recording in response to the camera's operation. Video and Audio Embedded via HDMI 4 channels plus a stereo mix are recorded on the FR-AV4. The 4K/8K video signal passes through the FR-AV4 and is recorded on the monitor recorder. In addition, the FR-AV4 allows the camera's audio to pass through and be recorded as part of the multi-track audio on the monitor recorder. Cascade Connection via HDMI Connecting multiple FR-AV4 units via HDMI enables cascade connection. This allows clock synchronization across units and makes it possible to start and stop recording from the first unit in the chain.
