Bryce Dessner 's Tenebre for String Quartet and pre-recorded track. A version for String Ensemble is also available for hire from the publisher  here. Tenebre was commissioned for the Kronos Quartet by the family and friends of Laurence Glyn Neff in celebration of his 50th birthday, the Barbican/London, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Kronos Performing Arts Association. This fantastic classical piece incorporates modern recorded technology and would make an excellent addition to the repertoire of any String Quartet looking for a fresh approach to performing.
