Description

To celebrate the third milllenium, Philip Sparke composed the work To a New Dawn. In this piece he previews the challenges of the future while also looking back and relecting on moments from the past millenium. It opens with a vivacious trumpet motif which is followed by a graceful woodwind theme passing through many keys. A solo trumpet brings the piece to a passionate climax.
