They are crafted from two-ply Asian Oak shells, providing excellent projection and tonal depth. The 7” and 8.5” heads are fitted with top-grade Bison drumheads and Toca’s EasyPlay hoops for enhanced comfort and response, while 8 tuning lugs on each drum allow for precise tension control and consistent tuning. Finished with durable, high-luster plated chrome hardware, the Elite Pro Bongos offer a cohesive, professional look that perfectly complements their racing-inspired design. Whether on stage, in the studio, or in rehearsal, these bongos deliver premium performance, striking aesthetics, and exceptional value in one powerful package. Toca is committed to being green and environmentally-friendly. The wood we use is harvested from a plantation in Thailand, where our drums are then lathed and handcrafted by local musicians. This carefully managed resource is much easier on the environment than wood taken from primary forests.
