Description

SKU AJG-88-YSRRJD

Tokai is world famous for its popular and superior range of Japanese made guitars. Like Tokai's 'Vintage Series' range, these new 'Contemporary Series' guitars are also manufactured in Tokai's Japanese Hamamatsu factory, and offer contemporary style and customised options that suit the modern guitarist. Like all models in the 'Contemporary Series', the all new custom order Silver Star guitar boasts superior attention to detail and utilises the finest available materials. The Tokai AJG-88-YSR 'Contemporary Series' JM-Style Electric Guitar is Tokai's take on a true classic that was originally designed as a jazz guitar in the 50's, but found its place in surf music and later alternative and grunge music in the late 80's. Tokai's version of this offset guitar differs from the original in that they have used a Tunomatic style bridge with stopbar tailpiece, eliminating the many tuning issues that plagued the original design. It features a solid Alder body, Maple satin neck with 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, vintage style Gotoh machine heads, Tunomatic style bridge with stopbar tailpiece, 3-ply pick guard, and Tokai's faithfully voiced PAF vintage Mk II humbucking pickups controlled by a 3 way selector switch with single volume and tone controls. Blue finish. Comes complete with Certificate of Authenticity (dated and stamped with serial number), a Tokai Vintage Tweed deluxe hard case and 5 year warranty.
