Mozart's Nine Variations on a Minuet by Duport, K. 573are based on a charming minuet written by cellist and composer Jean-Pierre Duport. For this practical performing edition, renowned Viennese concert artist, teacher and author Paul Badura-Skoda has reconstructed the lost autograph by combining the first edition, an early handwritten copy, and his own expertise from a lifetime of studying, teaching and performing Mozart's music. Helpful editorial performance suggestions, fingering, dynamics and footnotes ensure a stylistic performance. 16 pages.
