Wilkinson EZ-LOK Acoustic/Electric Tuning Machines in Chrome Finish (3+3) SPECIFICATIONS: Suits: Acoustic or Electric guitars Configuration: 3-a-side Housing: Sealed Button Style: Kidney Bean style Gear Ratio: 1:19 Fixing Tag: 45-degree Finish: Chrome Pack: 6 pcs The EZ-LOK System Explained What sets these machine heads apart from standard tuners is Trevor Wilkinson's proprietary EZ-LOK system, which acts as a budget-friendly "passive" locking mechanism without the weight or cost of a mechanical thumbwheel system. Dual String Post Holes Each post features two holes drilled at 90 degrees to one another. The "Two-Kink" Lock By threading the string tightly through one hole, wrapping it 3/4 of the way around the post, and pulling it tightly through the second hole before tuning to pitch, you create dual kinks in the wire. This firmly anchors the string in place and prevents slippage. Adjustable Break Angle You can customize your nut tension depending on which hole you feed first. Using the upper hole first and wrapping downwards decreases downward pressure on the nut (creating a slinkier feel), while starting at the bottom hole and wrapping upwards increases the break angle and down-pressure
