Description

SKU ZV12960

The Yamaha A1R is a dreadnought cutaway acoustic-electric built to take your playing from the lounge room to the stage. A solid Sitka spruce top with scalloped bracing sits above rosewood back and sides, giving the A1R a full, articulate voice with plenty of low-end depth. The Tobacco Brown Sunburst finish gives this A1R a warm, vintage-inspired look.

Plugged in, Yamaha's SRT piezo pickup system reads each string individually for a clear, wide-bandwidth signal, with onboard 3-band EQ, a midrange frequency control and a built-in chromatic tuner so you can dial in your tone and stay in pitch without extra pedals. A straight taper neck with hand-rolled fingerboard edges keeps the high frets comfortable to reach.

  • Dreadnought cutaway body for easy access to the upper frets
  • Solid Sitka spruce top with scalloped bracing
  • Rosewood back and sides for a rich, resonant tone
  • Yamaha SRT piezo pickup with onboard 3-band EQ, midrange control and tuner
  • Straight taper neck with hand-rolled fingerboard edges for played-in comfort
  • Fitted with Elixir NANOWEB 80/20 bronze strings
