Description

The Yamaha BB235 is the 5-string sibling in Yamaha's beginner-friendly BB200 Series, giving players the extra low B string of a modern 5-string without stepping up in price or bulk. Vintage White brings a classic, understated look that suits players who want their tone to do the talking.

A solid alder body and bolt-on maple neck keep the BB235 light and comfortable, with a wider fingerboard and nut than the BB234 to properly space the extra string. The 34" scale rosewood fingerboard and 21 medium frets give a familiar, easy-playing feel whether you're learning your first basslines or filling out a full band mix.

Custom V3 ceramic-magnet pickups in a classic P/J configuration deliver a clean, well-defined tone with plenty of low-end punch, controlled by simple neck volume, bridge volume and master tone knobs.
