The Yamaha BB434 builds on the BB Series' 50-year reputation as the go-to workhorse bass for gigging players, adding higher-output electronics and a stronger neck joint to the classic Broad Bass formula. In Red Metallic it pairs a deep candy-apple finish with a cream pickguard for a striking, road-ready look.

A solid alder body meets a bolt-on 5-piece maple and mahogany neck, joined with Yamaha's 6-bolt miter neck joint for extra sustain and stability. The 34" scale rosewood fingerboard keeps the feel familiar to anyone who has played a BB before, while a Graphtech nut and open-gear tuners help keep tuning solid under stage lights.

Custom-wound YGD Alnico V pickups give the BB434 more output and a slightly brighter voice than the entry-level BB200 Series, without losing the punchy, mid-forward BB tone bassists rely on for cutting through a mix.
