Description

The Yamaha BB434M takes the BB434 and swaps in a bright, snappy maple fingerboard in place of rosewood, giving the classic BB Series tone a bit more top-end sparkle. Tobacco Brown Sunburst pairs a warm, traditional shaded finish with that maple neck for a vintage-meets-modern look.

A solid alder body meets a bolt-on 5-piece maple and mahogany neck, joined with Yamaha's 6-bolt miter neck joint for extra sustain and stability. The 34" scale maple fingerboard keeps the feel fast and familiar, while a Graphtech nut and open-gear tuners help keep tuning solid under stage lights.

Custom-wound YGD Alnico V pickups give the BB434M more output and a slightly brighter voice than the entry-level BB200 Series, without losing the punchy, mid-forward BB tone bassists rely on for cutting through a mix.
