Description

The LL16-12 ARE puts Yamaha's all-solid Original Jumbo construction into a 12-string configuration, giving the chime and shimmer of a twelve-string the depth and projection of the L Series' larger body. A solid Engelmann spruce top, treated with Yamaha's Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (A.R.E.) process, pairs with solid rosewood back and sides.

A five-ply mahogany and rosewood neck carries an ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays, built to handle the extra string tension while staying comfortable to play. A built-in pickup means it is ready to plug straight into an amp, PA or interface without changing its natural acoustic voice.
