The LS6 ARE uses Yamaha's smaller Concert-style body and is shown here in a natural gloss finish, built for players who want a comfortable, easy-to-handle acoustic without giving up projection. Its solid Engelmann spruce top is treated with Yamaha's Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (A.R.E.) process, ageing the top's tonal properties before the guitar ever leaves the factory.

Rosewood back and sides keep the tone bright and well balanced from low to high, ideal for fingerstyle playing as well as strumming. A five-ply mahogany and rosewood neck gives smooth, stable playability, and the onboard SRT Zero Impact pickup lets you plug straight into an amp, PA or interface while keeping the guitar's natural acoustic voice.
