Yamaha has created this new Neo? Mouthpieces primarily for use in British brass bands. A newly developed Neo? Specialized Heat Treatment (NSHT) that enhances tonal depth and warmth has been applied to ensure spectacular brass instrument sound and expression. Particular care has been taken to achieve ideal weight and balance in a unique design that results in consistently superior playability and tone throughout each instrument's range. The new Neo mouthpieces give players unprecedented musical potential.

Inherits the highly regarded rim and cup shape of the CR-16E. Extra thickness in the outer shape and a new backbore design result in softer, warmer tone plus stable playability.
