Description

SKU VHY9960

The Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS20 pairs café-racer styling with genuinely versatile electronics. A chambered mahogany body with a maple top keeps the weight down and the tone open, while the set mahogany neck and 24-3/4" scale give it a comfortable, familiar feel in hand.

Two Yamaha-designed VH5 Alnico V humbuckers are wired to a 5-way switch with a subtle phase shift on the in-between positions, plus a push-pull Focus Switch on the tone control that adds a passive boost for darker highs and thicker mids and lows - handy for pushing a clean amp into overdrive or adding extra grit to a solo.

This RSS20 is finished in Mist Green, with a Rosewood fingerboard, Tune-O-Matic bridge and a gig bag included.

  • Chambered mahogany body with maple top
  • Set mahogany neck with carbon reinforcement
  • Two Yamaha VH5 Alnico V humbucking pickups
  • 5-way pickup switching plus push-pull Focus Switch tone boost
  • Rosewood fingerboard, 22 jumbo stainless steel frets
  • Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece
  • Gig bag included
