Description

SKU VEC1380

The Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS20L is the left-handed version of the RSS20, built as a true mirror-image instrument rather than a converted right-handed guitar. It shares the same chambered mahogany body with maple top, set mahogany neck and 24-3/4" scale as the rest of the Standard range.

Two Yamaha-designed VH5 Alnico V humbuckers are wired to a 5-way switch with a subtle phase shift on the in-between positions, plus a push-pull Focus Switch on the tone control that adds a passive boost for darker highs and thicker mids and lows - handy for pushing a clean amp into overdrive or adding extra grit to a solo.

This RSS20L is finished in Swift Blue, with a Rosewood fingerboard, Tune-O-Matic bridge and a gig bag included.

  • Left-handed construction, not a converted right-handed body
  • Chambered mahogany body with maple top
  • Set mahogany neck with carbon reinforcement
  • Two Yamaha VH5 Alnico V humbucking pickups
  • 5-way pickup switching plus push-pull Focus Switch tone boost
  • Rosewood fingerboard, 22 jumbo stainless steel frets
  • Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece
  • Gig bag included
