AVC11CE
The AVC design in the Artwood Vintage series take the benefits of a Solid Thermo Aged top and pairs it with the compact grand concert body shape for a supremely comfortable instrument with the tonal quality that can only typically be found in heavily aged tone woods.

Artwood Vintage -
The philosophy behind the Ibanez Artwood series is a “Modern Approach to Acoustic Guitar Tradition.” The Artwood Vintage series recalibrates that approach with additional emphasis on the traditional aspects. Incorporating elements such as distressed finishes, aged hardware, and thermo-aging of tone woods, Artwood Vintage guitars are able to deliver the character, playability, and tone of a vintage acoustic, without the high cost of investment.

Product Features

Soft-V shape Nyatoh neck
The Soft-V shape Nyatoh neck provides increased playing comfort.

Ovangkol fretboard
The Ovangkol fretboard provides greater playing comfort.

Thermo Aged™ Solid Caucasian Spruce top
Thermo Aged™ Solid Caucasian Spruce Top delivers a vintage-feel dry sound.

Okoume back and sides
The Okoume back and sides generate a woody, warm tone when the guitar is played softly or finger-picked and provide punchy high-mids with a clear projection when strummed.

Fishman® Sonicore pickup
The Fishman® Sonicore pickup accurately translates a full guitar sound to whatever amplification system you plug into.

Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp w/Onboard tuner
The Ibanez AEQ-SP2 Preamp delivers excellent sonic reproduction and control of tonal characteristics and easy operation

Ovangkol bridge
The Ovangkol bridge transfers string vibration directly to the body, delivering a natural and warm tone.

Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins
These pins really are an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage™ pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage™ the pin and string stay put.
